Melanie Smyth is our Senior Director of Clinical Operations for hVIVO UK, bringing over 18 years of experience as a registered nurse spanning Oncology, Acute Medicine, and Health tech. Her academic journey continued with an MSc in Advancing Clinical Practice in 2018, where she specialised in acute assessment, paediatrics, and sepsis management. Amid the challenges of the pandemic, Melanie transitioned into the Health Tech sector, collaborating with a dynamic team to develop an NHS app that enabled digital access to Primary Care during lockdown. Driven by an unwavering passion for safety and well-being, Melanie is dedicated to ensuring volunteers receive the best care, which in turn fosters the collection of robust and reliable data for our clients.
